The name SkyLark comes from my two baby girl’s names, Lucy Sky and Rosalie Lark. After my oldest daughter Lucy was born, I found a new passion for family photography, and it has since evolved into SkyLark Photography. Before my little girls came along, my photography skills focused on capturing my love of nature, and various shots from military expeditions I participated in during deployments. My diverse photography background has provided me with the experience needed to take a variety of different styles, and master the use of the highest grade cameras and photography equipment! I consider myself lucky to be able to serve so many people with what I do.

Raised in the Adirondacks, my interest in photography turned into a passion when I realized how much I loved to take photos of my friends and family so that I could cherish and share the memories we made. The idea of being able to do that for other people was the reason I joined SkyLark Photography. My love of nature and the Adirondacks has inspired me to capture the beauty of where we live and the people who live here as well.

My love for photography started when I was very young. Weather I was the one taking the pictures or getting my picture taken, I always wanted to be involved. My love for hunting and being outside gave me even more opportunity to keep the camera in my hand. I love this job and I am grateful to be trusted to capture people during such important moments in their lives.

I started out at a young age recording videos involving skate boarding and stunts in addition to capturing family gatherings at home. This hobby quickly evolved into a career and I am currently working in the field of video production full-time. I am seasoned videographer specializing in weddings and live events. My favorite part of being a videographer is capturing candid moments that happen organically, ones you wouldn't even expect to be caught on video.

I started my photography journey by wanting to capture those special moments my kids had. I quickly became passionate about taking action shots that caught those exciting moments when my daughter started riding horses. I started shooting my daughters horsing events and really enjoyed capturing those action shots and doing candid photos for her and her team. I love getting to know my clients and making sure they are comfortable in front of the camera. It is important to me that you can be yourself and feel comfortable in front of my lens. Your gallery of photos will be full of genuine candid moments that tell your story.
